Join Pre-Calculus to learn about the different ways advanced math can impact the world around us.  We will use new and improved technology to explore topics in greater detail than in previous courses.  Students will learn new methods and techniques with the idea of utilizing them in problem-solving in a chosen career, as well as use online tools to help their understanding.  Students will participate in a design-and-develop project that may focus on a career interest.  Those headed towards fields of medicine, business, or engineering are strongly urged to further continue to Calculus to get a great understanding of the changing world around us.

Students are expected to have a graphing calculator (TI-83, TI-84 or Nspire).
